Document scanning is the process by which a physical document is transformed into a digital document. It is possible to digitize flexible supports, without gluing, staples or other materials that could jeopardize the proper functioning of the scanners. Only in this way can we guarantee the quality of a good scanning service.
Investing in document digitization is not just an adaptation to technological requirements, but an intelligent strategy to boost efficiency, security and sustainability in business. By adopting this practice, companies position themselves to thrive in an increasingly digital environment.
By adopting document digitization, companies can save resources by reducing paper, ink and energy consumption associated with printing and reduce operating costs. Additionally, the need to store physical documents in bulky files decreases, freeing up space and reducing storage costs.
Scanned documents can be easily searched, archived and shared. This saves time that would otherwise be spent searching for information on paper and speeds up collaboration between employees and departments.
Document scanning can also be used to protect confidential documents with security measures, such as passwords and encryption. This helps prevent unauthorized access and loss of information.
Digitizing documents helps reduce the use of paper and contributes to environmental sustainability.
Document scanning also makes it simple to find and retrieve important documents. Instead of physically searching through folders and files, all it takes is a quick search on your computer.
Digitization also enables real-time document sharing with colleagues and business partners, regardless of geographic location. This is especially important for companies with dispersed teams.
Digital documents can be easily copied and stored in secure locations, minimizing the risk of loss due to natural disasters, fire or physical damage.
In short, digitalization not only simplifies business processes, but also contributes to cost reduction, operational efficiency and sustainability. It is a practice that has become essential for companies that want to remain competitive and aligned with the demands of the digital era.
Document scanning can be carried out in black and white or in color. For large formats, the standard maximum width for scanning is 90 cm.
When scanning documents, the most frequently used file extension is PDF. However, your documents can also be scanned to other extensions, if desired.
